It’s the core of Bell Rock Growers’ inspiration and mission. Co-founder Catherine Hoffmann first discovered the Power of Green Nutrition at a wellness retreat in California. At the heart of her experience was the use of one simple, yet incredibly nutrient-rich plant – wheat grass. Catherine’s discovery inspired her to spread the news about green nutrition and grow certified organic wheat grass at the family farm. She and her brother-in-law Marty Walls – a natural born innovator with a green thumb – built their first greenhouse and began producing certified organic wheat grass for health food stores and juice bars. Soon after, they learned about the parallel benefits of green nutrition for pets and decided to change course. With the help of their stellar “go green” team, Marty and Catherine launched the pet industry’s first nationally distributed live wheat grass and catnip products.
